About the Speaker: 

 Jonathan P. Gertler, MD has more than 35 years of clinical and scientific experience, and extensive advisory work with biotechnology, medical device, diagnostic, and health care IT companies in both the private and public sectors. He currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board at Boston University School of Medicine and the Venture Advisory Board of the BioInnovation Institute in Copenhagen.


Throughout his advisory career, Dr. Gertler has counseled companies on growth and liquidity strategies and has been responsible for significant aggregate consideration in M&A private and public equity for biotech, medtech, and HCIT companies.


Dr. Gertler was an academic vascular surgeon, primarily as Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital.

From Gothenburg Central Station to Biotech Center, Arvid Wallgrens Backe 20

By tram + bus (≈15–20 min):

  1. From the Central Station, take tram till Sahlgrenska Huvudentré (tram 7, Tynnered).

  2. Get off at Sahlgrenska Huvudentré. Take bus from platform B to Annedalkyrkan (Just one stop).

  3. Walk about 5 min uphill until you reach Arvid Wallgrens Backe.

By taxi (≈10 min)

From Gothenburg Landvetter Airport to Biotech Center

By airport bus + tram (≈40–50 min):

  1. Take the Flygbussarna Airport Coach from Landvetter to Gothenburg Central Station (Nils Ericson Terminalen). Buses leave every 15–20 min.

  2. From Central Station, follow tram directions.

By taxi/car (≈25–30 min)
